Face shield,N 95 masks without valve, PPE Kit,Surgical gloves,sanitizers which are alcohol based,thermometer to measure patients temperature, oxymeter have all become absolutely essential in dental clinics during the corona pandemic outbreak.
With all the above armamentaruim and a little bit of luck we expect the dentist remains corona negative. Once the dental procedure is over it is necessary to sanitize the entire operatory. Sodiuim hypochlorite with effective percentage can be used to clean the dental chair along with x ray machines and other contact surfaces.With utmost care being taken one can expect the risks to be minimum.
It has become mandatory to get patients tested for corona virus since few are asymptomatic as well before any dental procedure.
Once the dentist reaches home the next task of clothes being disinfected, incase the dentist has spectacles that too needs to be sanitized.
Bathing twice a day should be sufficient.
